The Performance Polymers Europe manufacturing plant based in Shannon, Ireland is now ISO 14001:2004 certified. ISO 14001:2004 sets out the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS). The EMS is a tool that allows ITW Shannon to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities, products or services, and to improve its environmental performance constantly. In addition, this certification also means that the EMS of the factory where various products are made is systematically assessed. This certification to the standard ISO 14001:2004 is therefore PPE’s commitment towards maintaining the highest possible standards.
